ADVICE TO HIRERS
No hard Standing
Bouncy castles cannot be errected in the middle of the street as they need to be weighed down with enormous amounts of sandbags in order to be safe. Any operator putting a castle up on hard standing, with just a sandbag on each anchor point does not care about the safety of YOUR CHILDREN. Castles can be easily caught in the wind and have been known to lift and children have been injured when this has happened. Your street party is going to be a fun day so we are sure you don't want to round it off with a visit to the hospital! We would advise you consider
- Is there a communal grassed area where the castle could be staked down?
- Could we stake the castle on the grass in someones garden?
- Is there somewhere we can put the castle where it can be tied to solid objects WITHOUT causing a trip hazard?
If you are not sure that you have a suitable place - we can come round and check
After Dark
With safety still in mind you should not have a castle going after dark, people are likely to have had a few drinks and be less vigilent when supervising their children and even think its a good idea to have a bounce themeselves - bouncing when drunk and in the dark is extremely dangerous! We rent to a number of pubs and they always specify we pick up before 7pm as they are aware of the problems.
Overnight Hires are subject to secure location - we would NOT allow you to hire a castle overnight if it was in a front garden or communal area. We will endeaver to pick up the castles as late as possible to ensure you have maximum bouncing but please remember we are not trying to spoil your fun - we are trying to make sure nobody spoils it be doing something stupid. |
